What's in a Prague street name

Every street in Prague, one by one.

Pod vršovickou vodárnou II was named in the late 40s. You kind of wonder why they bothered.

No street sign, and no new context beyond what was written on https://whatsinapraguestreetname.com/2026/11/04/prague-4-day-492-pod-vrsovickou-vodarnou-i/ yesterday.

For anyone thinking ‘Surely that’s the shortest street in Prague?’, that prize goes to a street on Kampa… and this is where things get annoying.

See, I know I wrote about that street in the Twitter days (you don’t forget writing a post about a 27-metre street). Except I cannot for the life of me find any reference to this on my website, nor can I work out if I still have my archived Twitter posts anywhere.

I probably deleted them in glee, as if that would have any effect on that man who proves that all the money in the world can’t stop you from having the most uncharismatic written style on Earth.

And missing out a street is really not how I like to think I do things.

I’m amusingly irritated by this now and will get back to you.
