Paběnická was built in 1930.

In 1212, a written document refers to a certain Vít z Paběnic – this suggests the presence, at that time, of Paběnice, a settlement to the south-west of Kunratice (https://whatsinapraguestreetname.com/2026/10/03/prague-4-day-461-kunraticka/).
The existence of the settlement was explicitly confirmed in a document from 1287.
In 1541, the settlement was devastated (presumably by a fire – a famous one also occurred around Prague Castle in the same year: https://whatsinapraguestreetname.com/2024/09/02/prague-1-day-1-u-svateho-jiri-st-georges-square/).
This fire was so bad that it would be 147 years before Paběnice was mentioned in writing again.
By 1786; Paběnice had five cottages; by 1843, it had thirteen houses, and 78 inhabitants. Eventually – in 1968 – it would be joined to Prague, as part of Kunratice.
